Roddy’s Cottage is an amazing base from which to explore all the delights hidden within Castlewellan. Outdoor activities are plentiful here, and include hiking, cycling, mountain biking, fishing and golf!

Roddy’s Cottage is close to the seaside town of Newcastle, and the famed Castlewellan Forest Park, with its lake and baronial castle. For interesting, fun-filled experiences, take a trip to the newly opened Game of Thrones Studio Tour in the nearby Banbridge. Within easy driving distance, do explore the Titanic Belfast site and the awe-inspiring World Heritage Site of the Giants’ Causeway, too.
